Ask about an area not listed

Tell us the suburb and the supports for anywhere else. If we can cover it properly we'll say yes; if we can't, we'll say so straight away.

1 business day

Every referral gets a yes, no, or a question from a named person.

Housing sourced

We find the home around the participant, not the other way round. Availability is never guaranteed.

Vic & NSW

Registered across both states, with staff based in each.

What we can and can't take

You shouldn't have to send a referral to find out. This is our current capability, and we keep it honest.

We can support

  • Intellectual disability and autism, all support levels
  • Physical disability including full transfers and hoist
  • Psychosocial disability with an established support plan
  • Acquired brain injury
  • Behaviours of concern with a current behaviour support plan
  • Complex bowel care, PEG feeding and epilepsy management
  • Participants requiring 24/7 active overnight support

We can't currently take

  • Participants under 18 years

  • Unregulated restrictive practices
  • Ventilator-dependent participants
  • Emergency same-day placement without a plan in place
  • Immediate SIL vacancies — we source housing with you, which takes time

NDIS services in Melbourne and Sydney

Support across Melbourne and Sydney, delivered by qualified, screened support workers matched to the participant, not just to the shift.

Supported Independent Living

Support in the home. Housing and tenancy are arranged separately.

Daily routines, personal care, meal preparation, household tasks and building everyday living skills. We source housing in the participant's preferred area rather than holding vacant rooms.

Respite and short term accommodation

STA including assistance with self-care.

Short stays built around the participant's existing routines, so a family carer can rest without the participant losing their footing.

Respite details

Personal care

Assistance with daily personal activities.

Showering, dressing, grooming, toileting and continence support, transfers, and morning and evening routines.

Social and community participation

Assistance with social and community activities.

Support to get out, hold down activities and keep community connections going, matched to what the participant actually wants to do.

Hospital to home

Discharge support and transition.

We work with discharge teams to get supports standing before the participant leaves the ward, and hold them steady through the first weeks.

Housing sourcing

Alongside SIL. Housing is not guaranteed.

Tell us the suburbs that work for the participant and we'll explore what's available, keeping the tenancy separate from the support arrangement.

Accommodation

How an NDIS referral works with us

Four steps, and you'll know where you stand at the end of the first one.

Send what you have

The referral form takes about three minutes. Reports and plan documents can follow later.

We respond in one business day

A named coordinator confirms whether we can take it, or asks the one question we need answered.

Meet and plan

We meet the participant and their circle of support, and agree what the arrangement looks like.

Commence

Service agreement, roster and staff matching confirmed before the first shift, not after.

Who handles your referral

One intake coordinator takes your referral from first call to first shift, so you're never re-explaining the participant to someone new.

Common questions

Is My Support Services a registered NDIS provider?

Yes. My Support Services (Unity Community Services Group Pty Ltd) is registered with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission, including for supported independent living. Our provider number is in the footer of every page.

Which areas of Melbourne and Sydney do you cover?

South east, bayside, west, north west and northern Melbourne, and south western, western and inner Sydney. The suburb list is above. Other areas by arrangement, if we can staff them reliably.

How do I refer a participant?

Use the referral form — about three minutes — or call (03) 9114 8958 and ask for intake. You'll hear back within one business day.

Do you accept plan-managed, NDIA-managed and self-managed participants?

All three.

Do you have SIL houses with vacancies?

We don't hold vacant rooms. For SIL we source housing in the participant's preferred area and keep the tenancy separate from the support. See how our SIL works.

Have a participant in one of these areas?

Send us what you've got. If we can't help, we'll say so today and point you somewhere that might.
